Prepress & Packaging Design
Overview
Packaging artwork needs to work on the production line as well as on the shelf. We review bag dimensions, barcode placement, color requirements and print feasibility before files move into cylinder making and printing.
HUAYN coordinates packaging design, prepress and gravure production within one workflow. We align layouts, trapping and color references with the agreed print specification, and identify file adjustments for approval before production.
For an artwork review. Send the bag format, finished dimensions or a reference sample, material structure if known, order quantity, product and filling conditions, and existing artwork. If the structure is undecided, start with our bag types and material guide.
Files to send. AI, PDF, PSD, CDR or high-resolution images can be submitted for review. Include available dielines, brand assets, linked images and color references. Flag missing fonts or images, and confirm bleed, resolution and spot-color requirements for the agreed print specification.

Process
HUAYN coordinates packaging design, gravure cylinder making, material conversion, printing preparation, and quality checks through one clear workflow. This helps reduce fragmented communication, align each production stage, and move flexible packaging projects from concept to production with better timing, print consistency, and project visibility.
Production-Oriented Design
01
Design developed around bag structure, artwork requirements and the agreed printing specification.
German-Engineered Precision
02
Leveraging world-class German HELL technology to craft ultra-precise cylinders for premium output.
High-Speed Color Consistency
03
Color references and production checks are coordinated to support consistent print across repeat orders.
One-Stop Synchronized Workflow
04
One workflow coordinates production, agreed quality checks and delivery arrangements.
Deliverables
Deliverables are prepared for the agreed cylinder-making and printing workflow. Confirm the production-file format, artwork version and color reference before release. Any proofing data, color profiles or CGATS measurement files should be specified in the quotation and confirmed as available for the project.
Approval checkpoints. Agree the artwork revision and dieline, review the specified proof or sample, confirm the color reference, then authorize production-file release. Identify the approver at each stage and confirm whether changes need a new proof. Approved work can move into gravure cylinder production and packaging printing.
Scope and handover. Confirm the work included, approval dates and required handover files in the quotation. Ask which artwork versions, proofing records or color-measurement records are available for your project; the agreed scope determines what is supplied.
