Coordinate artwork, order quantities, roll or pouch identification, packing and dispatch information for an overseas flexible packaging order.
Application and work scope
This guide covers the production-to-dispatch handover for an overseas packaging order. HUAYN coordinates artwork and production requirements with the customer's agreed packing and delivery arrangements.
Begin with the destination, required delivery date and quantity for each design. Identify who approves files, shipment information and changes to the order.
Keep production and shipment references aligned
Use the same design and order identifiers on the approved files, production records and packing information. Separate different variants clearly, especially where the packs look similar.
Confirm the required unit of quantity and how rolls, pouches, cartons or pallets will be identified. Agree any customer-specific label or packing-list information before packing starts.
Review the dispatch requirements in advance
For roll film, include the customer's roll and winding specification. For finished pouches, confirm the agreed packing quantity and protection requirements. Identify the documents and inspection records requested for the order.
Coordinate the dispatch plan with the customer's nominated contacts and agreed commercial terms. The quality and logistics service describes the production-support scope; customs and destination requirements must be confirmed for the actual shipment.
Close the order with traceable information
Check the shipment against the approved order and packing information. Finished packaging is inspected before dispatch, and identified nonconforming products are removed from the delivery batch.
Record any agreed change to quantities or timing. Transport results depend on the route, packing and handling conditions, so loss-rate or delivery-performance claims need actual shipment records. Send the product specification and destination when requesting a delivery plan.
