Introduction
This food packaging project brings artwork development, gravure cylinder preparation and printing into one workflow. The focus is on preparing the design for production and coordinating the packaging requirements before the order moves to press.
Challenge
Artwork revisions and color references need to be clear before cylinder preparation and printing begin. Material choices and delivery arrangements also need to suit the product and the customer's production schedule.
Solution
HUAYN coordinates artwork review, cylinder preparation and printing requirements so the design and production teams work from the same approved version. Material requirements, pack format and delivery arrangements are confirmed for the order.
For color evaluation, the reference, measurement method and acceptance tolerance need to be agreed before production. Any reported color-difference figure should be read alongside those conditions and the material tested.
Result
Before dispatch, we inspect the finished packaging and remove products identified as nonconforming from the delivery batch. This helps improve the quality of the packaging the customer receives.
The quality of the delivered batch reflects both production control and this final inspection and sorting step. It should be assessed against the agreed requirements for the order.
