This case covers beverage label printing, with artwork prepared for the container and label format. Registration and the printed appearance are considered alongside the requirements of the customer's labelling line.
Challenge
The design needs to account for the container shape and the way the label will be applied. Artwork approval also needs to consider the intended handling and storage conditions.
Solution
HUAYN reviews the artwork and print requirements with the customer before cylinder preparation and gravure printing. Label dimensions and the intended application conditions form part of that review.
Finished products are checked before dispatch, and products identified as nonconforming are removed from the delivery batch.
Result
The delivery check helps control the quality of the labels supplied to the customer. It does not establish a zero-peeling result under every application condition.
Claims about moisture resistance or performance on a labelling line should identify the material, test method and conditions used.
